FORT LAUDERDALE NEW CONSTRUCTION CONDOS: BEACH EDITION

FORT LAUDERDALE NEW CONSTRUCTION CONDOS: BEACH EDITION
It’s no secret that construction isn’t stopping in the Fort Lauderdale area as homeowners flock from all over the nation to live here. With the boom in moving comes, a boom in innovation, and the condo buildings arriving here are certainly not disappointing the masses with their beauty.

So many buildings, how do you know which one is best for you? Let’s take a look at some of Fort Lauderdale’s new construction condos on and around our coveted beaches.

The 4 Seasons

Another luxury hotel and residential building is hitting our beach! Described as “a modern reflection of the classic yacht club lifestyle,” this beachfront hotel and residence features 189 accommodations (19 suites and 41 hotel residences), two pools, a spa with six treatment rooms, event space, and so much more.

Paramount

The Paramount opened officially in 2019 and features forever-unobstructed views of the ocean (thanks to being right next door to Fort Lauderdale’s Historical Bonnet House). Exclusively residences, the Paramount features 95 total in the entire building. These residences include a private entrance to each and amenities such as a 24-hour valet, summer kitchens with BBQ grills, a signature oceanside restaurant, pool, poolside bar, and beach service and so much more.

Auberge

Auberge, located right on Fort Lauderdale Beach just north of Sunrise Blvd, is a beauty of her own. Featuring ultra-luxe beachside residences and a state-of-the-art spa, Auberge is inspired by nature. The Auberge Spa offers an unparalleled experience featuring a salt cave, infrared sauna, and other luxurious amenities.

The W Residences

Perfectly positioned between the ocean and the intracostal, the W Residences on Fort Lauderdale Beach features 171 total residences with oversized balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic beach and city views.

Selene

Selene is Fort Lauderdale’s most thoughtfully designed new oceanfront condominium bringing contemporary architecture and exceptionally spacious residences together with a host of indoor and outdoor amenities and 24/7 hospitality-inspired services.

Two resort-style pool terraces poised at the fourth floor overlooking the Atlantic Ocean offer fire pits, poolside cabanas, and dining areas, among other delightful features. Just minutes away from this enchanting oasis, Las Olas Boulevard and Downtown Fort Lauderdale await with a vibrant array of shopping, dining, and historic destinations.

The Neighborhood: Things to Do, Places to See

We’d be silly to leave out the amazing features of the beach community, so we’re giving you some of our favorites.

New Hotel: Hotel Maren

The Hilton Curio Collection planted a new concept right here on Fort Lauderdale Beach, and her name is Hotel Maren. This oceanfront hotel is directly across from the beach and a five-minute walk from trendy restaurants in our exciting downtown area. Not to mention… the hotel features a dine-in celebrity chef restaurant named “Riviera” by Fabio Viviani.

Pedestrian Friendly Innovations

The city of Fort Lauderdale turned the Southwest corner of A1A and Las Olas into what is now called The Loop (Las Olas Oceanside Park System) Park!

Part of this system of parks also includes the Intracoastal Promenade and the Sunset Terrace and Beach Garage. At these locations, you’ll always find something going on from live music to fitness classes and so much more!

Local Restaurants and Hangouts

With the new construction over the last few years have come some incredible new restaurants on our beaches. Asian fusion fan? Takato at The Conrad is not one you want to miss. Higher-end Mexican? Lona Cocina (The Westin) and El Vez (The W) do not disappoint.

Another of our local faves is just up the beach at Hugh Birch Taylor State Park, and it goes by the name of Park and Ocean. Park and Ocean sits amid a shady grove on the Southeast side of the park right along A1A, facing the ocean. The menu is fun and fresh, and even features an in-house brewery with cold-brewed coffees, teas, and craft beer.

Lastly, we’d be remiss to leave out some of the classic staples to our beach… The locals can be found at Coconut’s (a waterfront restaurant), Casablanca Cafe, S3 (Sun, Surf Sand), and Steak 954.

Always something to do.

What we love most about Fort Lauderdale, and more specifically – the beach – is that there is always something to do. The year-round beach weather makes Fort Lauderdale a spot for year-round events: music festivals (such as Tortuga and Riptide), the world-famous Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the Air and Sea Show, our Fourth of July Spectacular, and not to mention frequent marathons, half-marathons, and 5Ks.
